This body of small abstract compositions on square canvas boards is inspired by my daily occupation of "Eye Spy" a game I play looking out the window of my Barbican studio and observing the lives that can be glimpsed through windows. These are imagined lives glimpsed through windows from the myriad of shapes and colours at different times of day. As well as the interior lives on the Estate, this collection also contains exterior urban views of the City beyond the Barbican as well as tiny architectural details from a window pane all of which I imbue with a narrative that speaks to the endless intrigue and love I have for this corner of London.
